Ordained a priest forever on May 27, 2006

With praise and thanksgiving to God Andrew Francis Royals was ordained a priest through the laying on of hands and the invocation of the Holy Spirit by his Eminence Theodore Cardinal McCarrick at the Basilica of the National Shrine of thke Immaculate Conception in Washington, District of Columbia.

Oh, Mother Most Sweet!
Communicate to me something of the profound recollection and divine tenderness with which you awaited Him, so that you may make us less unworthy of seeing, loving and adoring Him for all eternity, Amen.

Mother of Fair Love, Help your children.

It happened one Easter at Nana and Grandfather's

A time it was when you were just a little girl on an Easter Sunday at Kayson Street. You wore a white dress with blue flowers.

Now you're all grown up. You've worn a different white dress and carried a bouquet with blue flowers that Peter gave you.

Soon you will have a little baby boy of your own.

We are so proud of what you have done with that little girl dressed in blue flowers. We love you Ann, Happy 23rd Birthday!

Happy Days at the lake are coming again!

When there were only four!

Don't forget to save the dates and bring your goggles and sunscreen. We are hoping those of you who have conflicts can make something work!

Nationals Have a New Owner!

The Washington Nationals have a new owner. Ted Lerner is from Bethesda, MD.

From the Post:
"With his law degree from George Washington, Lerner may not see this as a compliment, but one of the charms of his first news conference was to hear a couple of hardscrabble, son-of-immigrants pronunciations worthy of his D.C. background. He said he wanted to run the Nationals properly so he can "leave sum'em important to be my legacy to future generations." Maybe a guy who still says "sum'em" -- and doesn't care -- is probably more likely to leave "something" of value behind him.
"We will not let you down," he concluded, in the same tone he might have said, "The roof we build will not fall down." "

Now all we have to do is figure out how to get rid of Peter Angelos, "the locally loathed owner of the Baltimore Orioles."
