Happy Birthday Daddy!

You have always made me feel so safe and secure.

You know how to make me laugh!

It's fun to just hang out with you too!

I like visiting NYC- the city where you grew up.

I am working to have the same hairstyle as you- at least in the mornings.
When I grow up I want to be just like you.
I'm so glad you're my dad.

On Our Way Home...

Mike wanted to stop in Petersburg to check out the National Battlefield from the Civil War. During the last leg of the trip I asked Pat if he had a good vacation. This picture is worth a million baby words!

More Lake Pix.

Thank you, Nana and Grandfather, for such a lovely trip. We had so much fun and we miss you so much already.

Trip to North Carolina!

Simon and Patrick went with their mommies to visit Grandfather and Nana at the lake in North Carolina! What a fun filled week it was swimming, greeting the geese, eating yummy food, and spending time with their great-grandparents!

The daddies came down on Friday morning to spend the weekend.

Thank you Nana and Grandfather for everything!!!!

Here are some pictures from our trip- hopefully Aunt Ellen will post some of her shots as well!

The Take Over

School is out for the summer. With Mike working from home for the next few months, I naturally figured that there would be some changes to the daily schedule.... But I didn't expect a full out boy take over!
Much to my surprise I discovered Pat's high chair moved to the TV room ready for a night of pizza and The Gladiator. With the addition of another boy to the family in less than two months I am happily and realistically preparing myself for a life full of sticks, lizards, dirt, pizza, and baseball.
