Simon's Trip to the Zoo

We went to the zoo as a family a few weeks ago! It was so much fun. Simon and I had gone a month before with Ellen, Pat, & Nate and with my friend Mary and her daughter Maddy- BUT I had forgotten to take pictures!

Here are some fun shots from the outing:
1) Simon wonders if he will ever grow teeth like that!
2) Simon & Daddy see Donkey

4, 5 & 6) Simon loved Amazonia because he could stand up right at the fish tanks and see the huge fish & turtles swim by!
7) Simon roared along with the tiger
8) Everyone told us that we wouldn't see the Pandas, but we got up close & even fed one!
9) The sign of a good zoo trip.

It was 8 [eight] broken ribs not six!

So, we'll cut him a little slack - But Roy Russell will ride again!

Shout out to Uncle Roy! Hang in there!

A time it was! And it will be again! We are so proud of the great recovery you are making. Not many folks can smile like that when they have 6 broken ribs. Keep it up!

Greenage

Tornado Strikes Pensacola Shopping Mall:
"A tornado touched down Thursday morning, damaging this city's major shopping mall, as a line of violent thunderstorms made their way across the western Panhandle.There were no immediate reports of injuries."

Mom spoke with Tom and Caky (and little baby) and thankfully they are all doing fine. The tornado hit about 25 minutes from where they are. They just got lots of rain.

I Guess He Was More Tired Than Hungry...

When Pat and Nate are both hungry and in need of a nap at the same time it is always a gamble as to who needs the quicker response...

Today I went with Nate...but it looks like Pat was the one who needed his bed more!

On Our Second Anniversary...

On Oct. 15th Mike and I celebrated 2 years of being married! 2 years and 2 boys later! We couldn't be happier. Pat got his first pair of "big boy" shoes yesterday.

SIGHTING: The newest Royals @ 17 weeks

A few close ups of our child.

The bottom 2 images are actually 4D. We saw the baby moving around in real time. Sooo cool.

The Doctor said the baby was talking in whole sentences and walking around the womb for exercise. We can't confirm the talking yet, but the walking is true. Caky felt the first movements of the baby THIS MORNING!! It was very exciting.

The next sonogram is in a few weeks.

2 months and Growing... a lot!

Nate weighed in at 15 lbs 10 oz. and 25 inches long at his 2 month check up. That puts him at 99%. According to the chart, he is one of the biggest 2 month olds in the United States! The doc did make a reassuring aside when he told me that my baby was proportional making him a big boy and not a fat boy. Whew!

Nate also sports enough hair to get a really good lather.

I talked to Tommy this morning. He said they had arrived safely in Pensacola and were getting ready to move in.
