Tommy had his first flight in the T-6

After briefing at 5am every morning this week, (yes that means a 3:30 wake up time) and only to be cancelled each day due to weather, he finally flew his first flight yesterday. here are a couple images i pulled of the internet of the T-6 and the front cockpit, in which Tommy was flying (and yes he understands what all the buttons and gauges mean, think that looks confusing, its only half, all the circuit breakers and switches are missing from this photo)

Tommy loved his flight yesterday, as soon as he landed he sent me a text: "I'm safe and sound, I love you. It was awesome." Another sign showing Tommy loved it was the smile he had from ear to ear when he walked in the front door.

L'Angelus Rules!

Thanks to Uncle Peter for getting us all to dance with to the sounds and songs of the wonderful family band L'Angelus.

Aunt Nancy emailed reminding us "how Uncle Peter went down to Lafayette, Louisiana two years ago and came upon a spirited,joy-filled, Cajun family band named L'Angelus that he immediately fell in love with. And many of you have also heard how the young members of the band turned all out to be the children of a man named John Rees who went to St. John's Preparatory High School with Uncle Tom Royals!"

We went to their concert last night and had a wonderful time. We loved the music and the dancing and we are so happy to finally meet the oldest four of the Reese family. Soon we will figure out how to get Mom and Dad up with the rest of the family.

What a happy time!

Another Cousin has arrived!

Nathan and Kate Clukey and kids Abby, Sam, Grace, and Ella welcome their youngest member Benjamin Luke.
He arrived at lunch time today. 7 lb 14 oz and 21 inches long.

Pictures to follow as soon as we meet him. Mike already has nicknamed him "The Force."

We are so happy for them and Pat and Nate are thrilled to have another BOY cousin!

This just in...

Simon is cleaning up his room, lining up his toys, and getting all his books ready to share with his baby BROTHER due May 25th.

You will even see him holding stuffed animals as he practices holding a newborn...then he throws them on the floor and moves on to his trucks. We are trying to quickly break him of that habit.

We are having trouble posting pictures but hope to do so soon!

Guess What?!

I have 2 bottom teeth!

Batting Practice

Move over Ty Cobb. Pat is already working on his batting average.

Brothers...

This is a tame bonding between the two brothers. I usually have to pull Pat off of Nate as he rides him like a horse. One of these days I will catch that on video.
