Isaac Andrew Vitz

At peace in mommy's arms.

At 11:54 am the healthy baby boy was born- 8lbs 10oz and 21 inches. All are well. Thank you for the prayers.

-Pete

It took Simon the whole time mom was in labor to drink his smoothie. He needs all the energy he can get now that he is a big brother!!!

Ann is in Labor!!

She and Pete went into the hospital this morning around 6 after dropping Simon off at Mom and Dad's. Send prayers their way! More news to follow!

Whoa! Look at Fr. Andrew

So, he was coming along in his recovery, making a gradual but steady progress. Learning to eat again... Learning to move about with healing ribs and altered insides, experimenting with how much activity he could tolerate. Adding, little by little, the building blocks of functioning out there in the fast lane.... THEN there was an exponentially speedy recovery, WOW!
Does he have enough stamina to say Mass? YES!
Does he have enough strength to drive? YES!
Can he go out and have lunch with friends? YES!
Does he want to see his people? YES!
Does he want to get back home to Sacred Heart? YES!
Does he still need fattening up? YES!
Is he still pale? YES!
Does he still get bushed? YES!
Is he excited about getting back in the swing of things? YES!

Behold... the power of Ellen!

Connolly! To the power of three!

Unchallenged by children of 21 and 9 months, the Connollys are happy to announce the arrival of Awesome Baby Number Three, coming in November to a hospital near you! Ellen, Mike, Pat, and Nate are ecstatic (especially Nate, who got a diaper change shortly after hearing the news).

Baby's picture is posted above (not the most flattering angle, admittedly) as a reminder to everyone to keep the little chimpanzee in your prayers.

Happy Mothers Day!

Here's to Exams

I'm almost done with exams. I've taken government, leadership and navigation so far. Next week is calculus on Monday and chemistry on Wednesday to finish them off. My daily routine has been dominated by studying, but I have strategically peppered it today with liberty. Almost done.
