Drew Update # 5

Drew has been moved to a less intensive room in the ICU. This is a good step as he is making progress in his recovery. Mom and Dad are still visiting him daily and helping him with everything that he needs. While still an avid Orioles fan, he is in good spirits to hear the news of the Nationals walk-off home run victory on opening night.

Drew Update # 4

Mom and Dad were able to see him for a few moments last night. He was alert but in some pain. The surgery went very well and Mom and Dad came home last night to get a good night sleep.

Drew Update # 3

Drew is out of surgery and in the ICU getting ready for his recovery. Mom and Dad will hopefully get to peek in on him soon.

Toms and Caky have arrived!!

Tommy is crying because Simon isn't there to be in the picture.

Tom, Caky and Baby Tommy came in this afternoon... and first stop... Johns Hopkins to visit with Grandmommy and Granddad who are keeping watch on Uncle Fr. Drew's surgery progress. It was the first time that all 3 Toms were together!!

Drew Update #2

The Doc said the surgery has been going very well and they will begin closing him up! They are happy with the way things have been going.

Drew Update #1

Pre-op began at 7:30am and the surgery began at approximately 9:30am . The surgery should be about 6-10 hours long. Updates to follow.
